Looked at Merc C series estates, Audi A4 Avants, Saab Linear, Jag X Type estate, BMW 3 series Touring, Volvo V50 , in fact anything in the Ł21K to Ł22K range with a lease circa Ł500/month 30K/year over 3 years. Had a Honda many years ago as a compa... To read the FULL REVIEW, click here - Its FREE to browse, you just need to register.
I have had about twenty Hondas in 30 years of driving and this is the best. The level of standard equipment puts BMW to shame Quibbles: 1. Lack of a right footrest for use when cruising. 2. Sat Nav disk using mid-nineties data - no M6 Toll!
Upgrade from a CRV to the 2.2 diesel after 2 years has been a switch from a very good workhorse to a superb drivers machine The levels of equipment in the Executive model are truly great with electric everything, leather, dual climate control and an... This is the best car I have ever owned. I have owned Audi, Volkswagen, BMW, Ford's and Mercedes (my BMW caught fire, My VW at 2 years needed gearbox, driveshafts, oils seals, washer jets. This is my first Japanese. It gives 45mpg around town and 50+... To read the FULL REVIEW, click here - Its FREE to browse, you just need to register.
It is an absolute delight to drive, and very responsive for a diesel. It has all the bells and whistles, although the SatNave didn't work properly for the first six weeks or so. I had a Bluetooth Honda Handsfree Kit fitted, and this was the first tha... To read the FULL REVIEW, click here - Its FREE to browse, you just need to register.
bought because my Mazda 6 diesel developed dodgy fuel pump issues - look up reviews to find my positive one and the hope I wouldn't be changing - changed to this and the luxury is up another level - Sat Nav, rain sensing wipers, heated seats, individ... This has been the best but unluckiest car we have ever owned. The 2209cc (2.2l) diesel is a great engine and provides the car even when fully loaded with 5 adults + a boot full picnic food & beer etc with enough power to cruise well on motoroways and... a brilliant car generally. Bought from a dodgy secondhand place and quickly realised the outlet manifold had cracked. Dreading a 800 bill or fight with angry "arthur daley" did some internet research, discovered honda had extended the warranty on thi... Car makes a high pitched whine at motorway speeds. Honda UK has been to look at it and say they reported this to Japan on the release of the model. Japans’ reply is that it is a trait of the transmission design and cannot be elevated. If you need a c... To read the FULL REVIEW, click here - Its FREE to browse, you just need to register.
Well after 24 years of Toyota I went & got a Honda Accord Exec, fully loaded. I assumed, just like my Japanese built Toyotas this would be perfect! Read on! best car I have owned.superb engine and gearbox.top build quality.Sat nav does have some peculiar ways of directing.Returns 45 mpg on a run even doing 70mph.I thought previous model was great but this one surpasses it by a long way
Comfort and reliability are the key features of the cavernous estate car. I have done 50,000miles in just over 2 years without a problem. The servicing has been quite cheap and on some trips it has done 40mpg
GREAT CAR NEVER LET ME DOWN WHAT EVER YOU DO DEFINETLY BUY JAPANISE...
Without doubt one of the best cars I have ever had and the best Honda out of a dozen I have had. They just keep getting better and better! This one is superb on fuel too!
The best car I've owned in years. Cruises like a limo when you want to, or speeds and turns like a rally car if you need to. Excellent standard equipment. Problems with original front tyres that had a tendency to pull the car somewhat - almost like d... To read the FULL REVIEW, click here - Its FREE to browse, you just need to register.
The car is very well equipped with full leather, climate control, electric heated seats and the lots. Whilst the engine and the gearbox have been faultless, the fitting of the interior trim is appalling! Everything rattles and creaks even at 3000 mi... Bought 2.0 SE Exec in 2002, good car but its climate control is nuts. Its either hot or cold, dealer says that’s how they are. It’s very annoying. Anyone else suffer from this?
As per various readers polls and Which reports, the Honda Accord is the best selling mid-sized family saloon in the world, not to mention the most reliable in all aspects. In spite of this I have become totally bored and fed up of a vehicle that is ... To read the FULL REVIEW, click here - Its FREE to browse, you just need to register.
Great car! Ive had one for about 2 years now and it hasn't missed a beat. I have even taken it to castle combe (japfest) and you could tell it was made with the track in mind. Fantastic, what can i say, its fully loaded with everything CD, climate, leather, electric everything. If you can find one (the new model that is) buy it! It is built for American roads-wide and straight. A bit clumsy on narrow roads but smooth on motorways. It also likes to drink-30 mpg overall. Typical Honda reliability, just servicing and tyres since purchased used 2 years ago.
I've owned it from new and covered 55,000 flawless miles in just over 4 years. Apart from routine servicing the only other costs incurred so far have been for new front pads (at 45,000 miles) and a set of types (at 55,000 miles) It ... Bought the car 9months old - previously owned by Honda UK. Drives and handles well, little low on torque at low revs, fuel 28-41mpg. Brought the car as a replacement to my last workhorse (see Pug 306 D-Turbo 1997) which died. Brilliant buy considering the price I paid (just under ÂŁ5k) Its Japanese which means it hasn't broken down or given me any major mechanic problems and I... I Bought this car from auction a year ago (2002) with 16.5K on the clock It's a good car to own and drive. It's very quiet when cruising at motorway speeds and around town it goes well when it's given a good boot The fuel consumption is nothing fant... Had this car from new, and it has now covered 42,000 miles. The only problem in this time has been a faulty radio, which was replaced under warranty. The engine is typical of most Hondas i.e. not particularly torquey at low revs (despite the VTec... To read the FULL REVIEW, click here - Its FREE to browse, you just need to register.
Had this "toy" for 2 1/2 years and done 60,000 miles. Apart from a slight problem with the air-con, this has been an absolute joy to own. The dealer service has been excellent, collecting the car for every service and even the MOT, and the running c... To read the FULL REVIEW, click here - Its FREE to browse, you just need to register.
A very reliable Japanese car with two annoying traits 1.The steering is not geared to slow speed which makes parking a pain 2.The"sports seats" in a saloon car are not very comfortable on long journeys.
The Accord has been an utterly reliable workhorse over 30,000 miles in 1.5 years. Not a car to get excited about, but one to rely on and take for granted It's practical, with room for four and a big boot. It also feels properly set up- the ride and ... I bought the car after reading several reviews on how good they were. The interior trim, though plush (leather etc) is prone to both front doors given a rather annoying rattle Honda dealers by me have never heard of this problem before!! Owned befor... A good looking car, especially in black, that leads you to expect a lot from a thoroughbred of Japanese motors Unfortunately that is where the excitement and anticipation ends. The car has a poor spec for the price it commands on the used car market... To read the FULL REVIEW, click here - Its FREE to browse, you just need to register.
90k up on this 2000 model hatch. Does most things adequately but doesn't really live up to Honda's billing. It's an acceptable but very bland car with some annoying design glitches. Engine is very quick but only above 4000rpm, way too sluggish at low... To read the FULL REVIEW, click here - Its FREE to browse, you just need to register.
I bought this car for ÂŁ4k from a Honda dealer (it was too good to auction apparently). It's a great car if a little thirsty - I probably get between 30-35 mpg on mixed urban/motorway. From some angles it looks pretty good, from others it doesn't. ... To read the FULL REVIEW, click here - Its FREE to browse, you just need to register.
My dad had one of these as a company car for three years, and it was the best car we've ever had. Unfortunately the company insurance didn't cover me (drat), so I can only comment as a passenger. So, here goes Firstly, I thought it looked great, fin... To read the FULL REVIEW, click here - Its FREE to browse, you just need to register.
A cracking car, one of the best I have owned. A great drive, but thirsty for its engine size. Horrible seat fabric, but otherwise a great place to sit and drive. No faults, other than a less than perfect body repair by the previous owner - Honda!
I've had Audis and Beemers and have always had problems. I assumed this was the same with all cars, 'til I bought an Accord. What a car! Good spec, quiet and reliable, if a little thirsty. The optional sequential shift on the auto box is pants, thou... To read the FULL REVIEW, click here - Its FREE to browse, you just need to register.
This the third Honda and perhaps the best so far. Well made and superb engineering make this a very reliable car. Interior rather dark with black leather seats. Boot capacity is excellent. 106,000 miles without any breakdowns.
SOLID BUILD, RELIABLE, COMFORT, POWER, SPEED
Looks the part with the "Pirates Black" paint job, handles well but is let down by the jerky gear change in auto, particularly at low speed around town, this improves when you are driving hard although doing this makes it very thirsty. Tiptronic is s... To read the FULL REVIEW, click here - Its FREE to browse, you just need to register.
The best build quality and reliability of any car I've owned, superb leather interior all the extras, aircon., cruise control etc. Exceptional performance above 4000 RPM, not too bad on fuel, 35 mpg mixed driving is possible. The most reliable car I've ever owned
My bad points were Main dealer servicing was very expensive The cut out in the rear seats to allow boot access and long items was far too small I got rid of it after 6 months just, don't really know why but I suspect because it just looked so boring... I bought this car 2nd hand in 2004 with 75000 on the clock. Great car, a little heavy on petrol around town but fine on a run. Parts are expensive - but haven’t needed anything major yet. Lovely car to drive
If you want a car for the long haul this is the one Mine now has 291,000 miles on the clock!
