What a car! 70 plus mpg is a reality, but it's meagre 80 bhp with light weight, means it is quite peppy for such a car. We've owned this car 4 years on lease and 50,000 miles. Nothing has gone wrong. Nothing has broken. Skoda Fabia Vrs diesel: Ultra reliable, economical and very entertaining to drive. The best possible balance of power, economy and value-for-money motoring.
Simply the best built and most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. The diesel engine is very quick with loads of torque. On the motorway I use the cruise control and regularly get in the high 60's per gallon. The dealers are excellent too.

The best drive ever, and a cheap VW transmission and engine as well! It's quick, nimble, efficient, quiet and has had one fault in two years (the petrol filler flap wouldn't stay shut - not life threatening). I'm saving up for the vRS already.
